By accessing or using DAU Technologies services, including our mobile application, website, and transportation services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
DAU Technologies provides a technology platform that connects riders with independent driver-partners for transportation services and logistics solutions. We are a technology company that facilitates connections between users — we do not provide transportation services directly.
To use our services, you must create an account and provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Drivers using the DAU Technologies platform are independent contractors, not employees. As a driver-partner, you agree to:
Fares are calculated based on distance, time, and demand at the time of the trip. You agree to pay the fare displayed at the time of booking or as calculated at the end of the trip. DAU Technologies retains a service fee from each transaction.
Riders may cancel a trip within 2 minutes of booking without charge. After this period, a cancellation fee may apply. Repeated cancellations may result in account restrictions.
All users must comply with our community guidelines and safety standards. Prohibited behaviours include but are not limited to:
DAU Technologies provides the platform on an "as-is" basis. While we strive to ensure safety and reliability, we are not liable for incidents that occur during trips beyond what is required by Kenyan law. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount of fees paid by you in the preceding 12 months.
All content, trademarks, and intellectual property on the DAU Technologies platform are owned by DAU Technologies Limited. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without written permission.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms, fraudulent activity, or behaviour that endangers the safety of the community.
Any disputes arising from the use of our services shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the laws of Kenya. The seat of arbitration shall be Nairobi.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
